Overview
SUJ2 (AISI 52100 / 100Cr6) is a high-carbon chromium steel developed for rolling bearings. After quenching and low tempering it reaches HRC 60–64 with outstanding wear and rolling-contact fatigue resistance.
It is machined in the spheroidized-annealed state and hardened afterwards.
Key Properties
Typical values from the MatWeb datasheet for AISI E 52100 Steel (100Cr6, SUJ2, UNS G52986). Machined parts take the properties of the stock they are cut from.
