Overview
C83600, often called 85-5-5-5 or SAE 40 bronze, is a cast copper alloy with tin, lead and zinc. It is pressure-tight, corrosion resistant and machines easily thanks to its lead content.
Machined from continuous-cast bar, it is a long-standing material for valves, pump parts and plumbing hardware.
