PC/GF-Like Rigid

Overview

Phrozen Engineering Rigid PC/GF-like is a glass-microsphere-loaded 405 nm photopolymer with 2.5–3.5 GPa modulus and 100–130 MPa flexural strength — approximating the stiffness of glass-fiber-reinforced injection-moulded polycarbonate.

The PC/GF-like name reflects engineering similarity rather than chemistry (the cured resin is a thermoset). It is Phrozen's stiffest engineering resin, suited to structural brackets, automotive prototype parts and high-load fixtures.

Key Properties

Typical datasheet values; printed parts are anisotropic and XY-direction values are shown unless noted.

Typical Applications

  • Structural mechanical brackets and mounts
  • Automotive prototype components
  • High-load mechanical fixtures
  • High-temperature electronics housings

Printing & Handling Notes

Cures at 405 nm; post-cure 60–120 min for full crosslink density. Glass loading raises viscosity (500–700 cP) — pre-warm the bottle to ~30°C for best fills on fine geometry.
