Overview
PETG Basic is stronger than PLA — 51 MPa tensile versus PLA's ~35 MPa — while keeping PETG's toughness and resistance to water, UV and temperature swings.
A refined formula reduces stringing for smoother surfaces, making it the go-to for functional outdoor parts on a budget.
Key Properties
Typical datasheet values; printed parts are anisotropic and XY-direction values are shown unless noted.
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Density | 1.25 g/cm³ |
| Tensile strength | 51 ± 1 MPa |
| Tensile modulus | 2780 ± 65 MPa |
| Elongation at break | 9.5 ± 0.7 % |
| Flexural strength | 75 ± 3 MPa |

Typical Applications
- Outdoor accessories
- Functional tools
- Stressed structural parts that still need some give
Printing & Handling Notes
Prints at 230–260°C nozzle, 65–75°C bed. Dry at 65°C for 8 h if absorbed moisture causes stringing.
