Quality Assurance
Every Part Has to Survive the Real World
From incoming material verification to final pre-shipment measurement, Orinovate runs a single quality system across design, manufacturing, inspection, and supplier management — so every 3D-printed and CNC part lands within drawing tolerance, batch after batch.

Quality Is Designed and Built In, Not Inspected In
We do not treat quality as a last stop where defective parts get pulled. Orinovate's quality system kicks in the moment a STEP file lands: DFM engineers check whether the geometry and tolerances are realistic, process engineers pick equipment and parameters that can hold the spec stably, and inspection covers four independent checkpoints — incoming, first article, in-process, and final.
The point is not a pretty statistic. It is predictability. The part you receive in batch one and the part you receive in batch thirty should be indistinguishable in tolerance, surface, and appearance. That is what production buyers in medical, aerospace, and automotive actually pay for.
Inspection & Metrology
We invest in equipment and people that get the measurement right the first time
Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
Zeiss and Mitutoyo CMMs calibrated to ±0.0025 mm, used for critical features, complex tolerances, and true-position verification. Programs are saved and reused for follow-on batches.
Optical & Profile Measurement
Vision systems and optical comparators handle thin-walled, deformable, or non-contact-friendly parts, and run fast in-line sampling during production.
Surface & Form Tolerance
Mitutoyo roughness testers and roundness gauges measure Ra/Rz and form tolerances (roundness, flatness, perpendicularity) per ISO 1302 and GD&T callouts.
Material & Hardness Verification
Rockwell and Vickers hardness testing plus XRF composition checks. All metal-printed and CNC parts ship with material COC; metal powders are batch-tested for particle size and chemistry.
Five Quality Gates Between STEP File and Shipment
DFM & Drawing Review
Engineers review geometry, tolerance feasibility, and manufacturing risk before the job opens.
Incoming Material & Powder
Metal powders and engineering plastics are tested for chemistry, particle size, and flowability on arrival; COC is filed against the lot number.
First Article Inspection
The first part of every new order is fully measured on CMM with an FAI report. Production only ramps after the process is proven stable.
In-Process Control
SPC sampling records key dimensions and machine parameters. Any batch breaching control limits stops the line for analysis.
Final Pre-Shipment Inspection
Dimensions, surface, cosmetics, and packaging are inspected per part or per AQL plan. Inspection reports and a Certificate of Conformance ship with the parts.
Certifications & Systems
We run multiple quality systems in parallel to meet different industries' regulations and customer requirements
ISO 9001:2015
General quality management system. Every job runs under this baseline.
AS9100D
Aerospace QMS covering risk management, configuration control, and special-process qualification.
