Overview
17-4 PH (SUS630) is a martensitic precipitation-hardening stainless steel. It reaches tensile strengths above 1000 MPa while retaining corrosion resistance close to 304.
Unlike the 300 series it is magnetic, and its properties can be tuned by aging treatment (H900 to H1150).
